Our Landscape Design Process

Landscape design is a very personal service and it may not be as straight forward or as easy as you might think.  As professional landscapers we know and understand how to create a beautiful landscape within a given amount of space and to meet a particular budget.

We know the various types of plants that are most sustainable in our area, we know how to design a landscape that can reduce your maintenance requirements, take advantage of the existing contours of your land, and make your property look amazing at the same time.

The process begins by requesting a consultation with us and we'll arrange a date and time to come and meet you at your property.  We want to listen to your ideas and view and measure your property so we can get a good idea of how to best implement what you'd like.

We also need to consider your available space, the position of any existing trees or hardscaping such as patios or decks, the distribution of sunlight, drainage, and more.  We can work with your ideas and offer helpful suggestions from a professional perspective to help you to make choices that are right for your landscape.

The ultimate deciding factor in your new landscape is going to be your budget.  We have no intention of showing you something or presenting ideas you can't afford; we can work with your budget to come up with a beautiful landscape you and your family can enjoy.

The apartment complex I live at used Brummel’s services for several years. This spring I noticed a different landscaping company had been hired and you could immediately notice how horrible this complex looked. I complained to management as well as other tenants. We were told they wanted to give another landscaping company a chance and what a huge mistake that was. If it’s not broken don’t fix it! Thank goodness they realized cheaper isn’t better and hired Brummel back. This company is so meticulous in their work and it shows. We once again have a pristine looking landscape and they are very prideful in their work!

Came home to find some sod had been installed in my yard! Called Brummel's after hours and in a short time Kyle showed up to set up a program on the sprinkler, aim the heads , and make sure that all the new sod was getting watered. He was a life saver ! Thanks Brummel's.
